A Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Christmas this year was in Utah. For all of our friends and family that we did not get to see while we were there, we are very sorry...you all know how holiday's go, especialy since there is hardly any time! It all started with our annual Orgill Christmas party... oh yes, that includes all of the Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Cousin's spouses, grandchildren...you name it, we had it. I can't believe how big my dad's side of the family is getting. It's getting harder to plan activities that everyone can be to at the same time. Nevertheless, my parents pulled it off this year, as it was thier turn for the Holiday party. We had a pic-nic style dinner, (thank you for the easy clean-up, props to subway!) and of course LOTS of everyone's favorite desserts. (no picture of the fabulous spread because I did not want to be reminded of all the Yummy-ness that caused the weight gain this Christmas!). Of course with the abundant amount of snow that Utah has received, none of us could pass up the opportunity for some major sledding! We ended up going Christmas Eve and then of course back to the Orgill's for some Hot Chocolate and all-you-can-eat---well, everything! We read the Night Before Christmas and then sang--yelled--Christmas songs until, the knock on the door! Santa left all the good girls and boys gifts! Christmas Morning was with the Baker Family... wow, what memories it brought back to see how excited the boys got that Santa had come to leave them all sorts of treats. I can't wait to do "Santa" with our kids! Our New Year's Eve was spent again with the Baker Family! They decided to get out of the 14 degree chill of Utah and come to the 40 degree chill of Vegas... of course they were in light sweatshirts the whole time--while the rest of us Las Vegian's were freezing our toes off! We ate a lot and played a lot, and yes we drank a lot... sorry but Mountain Dew and Dr. Pepper comes in handy sometimes! (especially when your normal bed time is that of an old person-- 10pm). We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year!! (don't worry McDonald fam, next year Christmas with you will be all over our blog!!) We love you all!!
