SUMMER 2012. . . woot woot!!

I can't believe, seriously, that it is August already. The summer has flown and we have been SOOO busy it has been a whirl wind. Two straight months of non-stop fun and everything in between . . .

June. . . Little sister Mikayla graduated! The baby of us 6 children. I can't imagine what my mom was feeling... relief, anxiety, excited? I don't even want to think about my youngest graduating. For one because he or she is not even here yet, and for another, that would mean time went by too fast. Okay. On with the show.
. . . The week after the graduation, we had a wedding shower for our new sister-in-law Nikki. Love her. She is the sweetest person in the world and totally fits my brother. She is for sure his other half.
. . . The week after the shower my youngest brother Brayden was married to his cute bride Nikki. It was a wonderfully -hotttt- day, and the ceremony and wedding dinner were perfect. It was so exciting to finally see my brother happy and feel like he had some direction and goals in his life. We love them both so much and can't wait for the exciting adventures they will add to our ever growing family!
. . . After the wedding, we went from Salt Lake to Las Vegas to visit our other family members! We had a blast spending a few days with cousins, grandparents and brother's and sister's. We went to Lake Mead for a day, courtesy of our bro-in-law Ryan! He got us a "party" boat and we went out on the lake! It's quite amazing how clear the water is when you get away from the nasty shore... and it was sooo warm! Such a fun day!! We were also able to attend the blessing of my brother's 3rd baby Summer's blessing. I'm so glad we got to be there with them. We miss Vegas so much and didn't want to leave. In fact, we stayed an extra day just to soak up more of the Vegas heat.
. . . On our way home to Redding, we met my sister and her 5 kids in Reno and they followed us home to visit for the month of July!

July. . . Had food poisoning from our travels back to Redding on the 4th of July. Lit off some fireworks in the driveway... nothing too major this year!
. . . Had a campout with the boys... well, Tyler camped outside with the boys, us girls slept inside! But we had foil dinners and smores!
. . . Swim lessons for two weeks at the Sumsion's house. Awesome pool, perfect for fun and for swim lessons. Love the Sumsion's. They are our adopted family here in Redding. Seriously, feels like we've known them for our whole lives!
. . . Went to the park a bunch. It was quite hot so we watched a lot of movies and Disney channel inside.
. . . Had a birthday party for Ethan...thanks to Grandma Cindy for making it such a fun day! You're the best Cindy!!
. . . Ended the month of July going to Danville to stay with cousins and then a trip to San Fransisco and Muir Woods and Beach.
**Edit**I have to give a HUGE shout out to my cousin Dani and her cute family! They let us plop ourselves and our 6 total of children in their house for 2 nights. Bless you Dani. You are the bomb-diggity-bomb... p.s. I can't believe there were 12 children at your house at one time. WHAT!?! My contribution: 1. It's all good. Really.

Seriously, best summer. So crazy busy but so much fun. The pictures are great memories of everything that happened. I have to say the last picture of Griffin lying on the couch is how we felt after the house was quiet again. It was chaotic fun for two straight months, but it was fun!! The best part is that we will always remember it!!
